Nintendo DS / Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift

I would place money on every single person who's ever played video games knows about Final Fantasy. Am I wrong? Well, even if I am, this is still my favorite Final Fantasy game.

In the sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, you play as Luso Clemens, who writes his name in a library book, and is whisked away to the world of Ivalice. From there, you can go on adventures as you please, gaining friends to use in your battle party, and completing quests to earn Ability Points, Clan Points, and gold. You can go through the game at your own pace, increasing your character's power, and that of his friends, infinitely. At least, I believe it's infinite. I've never had a character "max out."

This is the one game I've spent the most of my time on, at 350+ hours. Even with that amount of time, I've never beaten it. I love it, and still haven't gotten tired of it. I'm pretty sure it was the 2009 game of the year for Game Informer Magazine, although I no longer have that issue. I believe it was the one with inFamous on the cover...? Ah, well, that's not too important.

The music is wonderful, and the game itself does not get old, at least, I think so.
